National Cadet Corps

          The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose. Needless to say, the NCC also provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.

          Its motto is “Unity and Discipline”.

NCC at Dayananda Sagar Business Academy

To develop character, discipline, companionship, leadership, the quest for adventure and noble service amongst the youth NCC Army Wing, Dayananda Sagar Business Academy came into existence on August 01,2017. The institution offers training under the aegis of 2 KAR Bn National Cadet Corps.

NCC activities of the college are guided by Prof M G Nagaraju, ANO.

2018-2019: SD-20 and SW-11 enrolled


  NCC cadets were enrolled on 1stAugust’17 for the academic year 2017-2018.
  On 8thAug’17, cadets took part in Vanamohatsava-Tree Plantain Drive.80 saplings were planted at the college premises and BM Kaval Forest, Agara.
  First parade was conducted on 28th August’17 at the college campus.
  On 25thSeptember ’17, NCC wing of DSBA celebrated the third anniversary of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and 148thbirth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by organizing cleanliness awareness drive and people sensitization programme at Kumaraswamy Layout, Bangalore.20 NCC cadets took part in the drive.
  Five NCC cadets from DSBA namely, Rohan [II Year BCA], Gowtham, Anas [I Year BBA] Raj Kishore and Dinesh [I Year BCom] participated in the Special CATC at Siddar Betta and Tumkur from 10thMarch’18 to 19thMarch’18.
  Four NCC Cadets from DSBA- Rohan Satish [II Year BCA], Raj Kishore [I Year BCom], Tapan Maney [I Year BCom] & Gowtham [I Year BBA] honed their shooting skills at the combined Annual National Cadet Corps training camp held at Government Arts and Science College on 2ndApril’18.
  Ten NCC Cadets from DSBA were selected to participate in the Range Firing Practise conducted at MEG Centre, Ulsoor Lake from 9thApr’18 to 11thApr’18.
  NCC enrolment process for the year 2018-2019 took place on 3rdAugust ’18 at DSBA Campus.
  50 NCC cadets showed their patriotic fervour when the national flag was unfurled on 15th August ’18 at DSBA campus.
  4 SD and 4 SW cadets from DSBA attended the 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp [CATCVIII] / Thal Sainik Camp from 27thAug’18 to 05thSept’18at Govt Polytechnic College.
  To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, NCC wing conducted ‘Swachhata Hi Sewa Abhiyaan’ on 22ndSeptember’18 at Agara Village, Kanakapura Road.46 NCC cadets took part in this initiative.
  Parades are held during the afternoon session on Fridays.


At the 10-day [27th Aug’18 to 05 Sept’18] Combined Annual Training Camp [CATCVIII] / Thal Sainik Camp held at Govt Polytechnic College:

  Cadet Sowmya won Gold Medal in Kho Kho.
  Cadets Tejeshwara, Dinesh and Raj Kishore won Silver Medals in Volleyball.
  Cadet Raj Kishore was awarded the Best all -rounder Medal.
