Transactional Analysis on 10 Aug 2013

We are compelled to play multiple roles every day. Our attitudes vary more or less consciously depending on the situation and the people we encounter. This is the way we express our personality. Knowing ourselves better and how others feel about us can prevent us from falling into traps, from too frequently reproducing the same errors and reliving the same situations in our relationships with others, whether it be as a couple, as a family, or in the professional context...  Transactional Analysis is a theory developed by Dr. Eric Berne in the 1950s. Originally trained in psychoanalysis, Berne wanted a theory which could be understood and available to everyone and began to develop what came to be called Transactional Analysis (TA).  Transactional Analysis is now gathering worldwide attention. Hence a training session was organized for all the students of DSBA on Saturday, 10th August 2013 between 9:30 to 12:30 pm at the seminar hall. Mr. Umesh Chandra conducted the session. He explained as to how when we interact with other people, our state of mind affects and what happens. He also emphasized on the ego states, human interactions, stroke economy, life positions, and blame model and so on. Students thoroughly enjoyed the session and participated wholeheartedly in the team activities  related to the topic- Transactional Analysis.
