INDIA WAY FORWARD [IWF - 2015] - National Conference on Skilling and Fortifying India

National Conference on Skilling India and Fortifying Its Roots was held on the 16th of January 2015 at the Art of Living International Centre, Bangalore. The mandate for emerging India is youth employment and rural development; they need to go hand in hand.

The dissonance between academic teachings and learnings required in Corporate India or for a budding entrepreneur has become acute. Skilling the Indian youth has become imperative to bridge this gap. The session invites Corporate India, Universities, Placement agencies, Youth to recognize the challenges and chart a way forward.

Building robust health, hygienic habits and surroundings, homes for the homeless, harmony in diversity and an economic sustenance model has oft been discussed as a holistic model to bring about Sustainable Integrated Community Development in Rural as well as Urban India. This session explores an implementable model for the nation to follow and also the role of spirituality to spur human values, a cornerstone in achieving success. Experts share the strides taken by them on each of the above initiatives. IWF - 2015 is an attempt to set perfect equilibrium between the growth and progress of Indian youth and rural India.
