ORIENTATION SESSION ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHT

A session on Intellectual Property Rights was conducted by Mr Sanjeeth Hedge, Partner, Banana IP for the faculty on 11 April 2015 from 10:00 am to 12 pm.

Mr.Sanjeeth Hegde –Partner, Banana IP services Pvt. Ltd is a seasoned intellectual property professional with progressive experience in technology licensing and IP management in products, technology and knowledge based companies in US and India. He has worked with several Fortune 500 companies and has also led start-ups.                                    

 

He oriented the faculties on various types of IP, such as Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, Design, Trade Secrets, etc.  And also he discussed on IP’s importance and impact on business today. He also touched upon how to Form IP strategy for business gains, competitiveness and increasing valuation in start-ups to large corporate.

And he also explained the possible course outline for conducting a training session for students. He even shared the proposal of the certification program.
