Entrepreneurship session for final year DSBA students

On 11th August’16, post noon there was session on Entrepreneurship for final year BBA students.

The facilitator was Gowtham Jayaram, Co-Founder, Impetus Academy .It was started to train college students and newly hired candidates to strengthen their soft skills to attain success by taking corrective actions and having sceptical mind-set towards solving problems at work and personal life. Mr Gowtham a self-starter and a quick learner has versatile skill sets. He has experience in operations, customer service, sales and marketing, recognised skills in mentoring, management, decision making and has led teams in several projects. A very well qualified person, Mr Gowtham has done MBA from University of Applied Science, Germany, PGDM [Finance] from Christ University.

Mr Gowtham spoke of his journey right from the very beginning till he became an entrepreneur having his own start-up company .He mentioned the hardships he faced through his journey and how he was able to solve all the difficulties. Students who seemed to lack confidence were highly motivated. His presentation skills was impressive and he used effective quotes and made his session very attention-grabbing.

The interactive session helped students raise queries and Mr Gowtham ensured that all got satisfactory answers. He steered the students to make headway with the ideas of entrepreneurship and shared tips/strategies to become successful in the corporate world.

The session ended with the class wanting more of such type of valuable interactions1
