Teachers Day Celebrations at DSBA

Faculty at DSBA were in for a pleasant surprise on the morning of 6^th Sept’16 when I, II and III year BCom, BBA and BCA students showed their admiration, love for their faculties’ and honoured them.

September 5 is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, besides being a well-known diplomat, scholar and the President of India. A special day in a year is dedicated to teachers! And that day is the 5th of September.

Students bought cakes and requested Dr [Brig] Sandes, Principal –DSBA; Dr Veena, Dean –DSBA; Prof Nikitha, HOD-DSBA and teachers to cut cakes to mark the occasion. Sumptuous snacks was also offered to all. A short entertainment programme followed in the form of thank you speeches, dances, songs and mimicry. The programme culminated with students showing their respect and appreciation by gifting faculty with pens, cards and flowers.

On behalf of all, Prof Nikitha thanked the students for making the occasion memorable and extended her best wishes to all the students.
