PTA at DSBA

“Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where not a path is and leave a trail.”

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Parent-teacher conferences can play a very important role in a student’s development and academic success.  Unfortunately, this relationship is often overlooked, ignored or undervalued. But at DSBA, we understand that the parental involvement has a significant impact on students’ performance at college. Hence, PTA is organised every semester. The main purpose of meet is to create a common platform, where teacher and parents come together to enrich the student’s educational experiences and discuss variety of issues, regarding all round development of students.

PTA was held on 27th Feb 2016 in the College Seminar Hall/Computer Lab between 10am and 4 pm for the parents of the UG students [II, IV and VI semester BCom, BBM/BBA and BCA]

During the meeting, the teachers directly communicated with parents and discussed various issues pertaining to students’ performance which included attendance, internal examinations results, conduct, completion of assignments ,involvement in curricular activities and progress. Likewise, parents also conveyed their messages, concerns, doubts and feedback.

Above all, PTA is a three-way relationship -between the parents, students and their teacher and only by working together positively can one help the students achieve their full potential.
