Seminar on 'Entrepreneurship'

If you have faith that everything will work out in the end, it will.

On 11th Jan’17 and 12th Jan’17 the second and third year BCom and BBM students were fortunate to be addressed by Dr Veena KN, Dean-DSBA on entrepreneurship programme in the ground floor seminar hall between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm.

           

Dr Veena discussed about the need and importance of entrepreneurship element in academic curriculum & spoke on the plans of conducting ‘Entrepreneurship Training Programme’ for about 20 to 25 hours on working Saturdays during the semesters.

She showed students inspirational images, innovations and discoveries made by successful entrepreneurs. She highlighted the skills and qualities required for entrepreneurship which includes new thinking, creativity, ideas ,the entrepreneur’s understanding and appreciating in launching projects and managing them successfully in a competitive world.

In the end, she emphasized on gaining skills in entrepreneurship and learning how to successfully conceive and build up start-ups with a positive impact on society.
