Hire-Train-Deploy (Job Drive) Organised at DSBA by ProEdge

 

Pro Edge Consulting and Training is an education organisation focussing on professional & industry oriented education. They offer range of training programmes & certifications focusing on industry oriented requirements. They closely work with students & provide assistance to corporate with talent management solutions. They also bridge the gap between educational institutes and industry with an objective to provide an access to the students for better job opportunities.

 ProEdge held a job drive at DSBA campus for final year DSBA students on 10^th March’17. Because of the enthusiastic response from the students, the Job Drive concluded in the late evening. The ProEdge job fair was coordinated by Prof Srilalitha, Placement coordinator at DSBA.

Their approach was as follows:

 

• Gave orientation to the students, took aptitude test and interviewed the interested candidates for the purpose of short listing.
• Mapped candidates to the various companies participating in the drive based on the candidate’s interest and company’s requirement.
• Candidates will appear for interviews with the companies in Bangalore .The companies will select candidates and provide list of shortlisted candidates to ProEdge.
• Shortlisted candidates will be provided one day free training on domain specific knowledge and soft skills.
• The selected candidate will also undergo an advanced training (chargeable depending on the company who has selected) as designed in conjunction with the companies, with ProEdge as this would be the condition to be fulfilled by a candidate to be eligible to join the company. The training cost would be in range of INR 10,000 - INR 12,000, but this would be given only to the selected candidates.
