CIL Training on Communication Skills

CIL training on ‘Communication Skills’ was held for II Sem BBA students on 29 Jan’18 and for II Sem BCom & BCA Students on 30 Jan’18 in G-01 & G-05 rooms from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.

CIL under the banner of DSI aims to impart innovative soft skill training programs to enable individuals to become champion leaders in their endeavour, and to sustain a high level of performance at the individual and the organizational level.

The CIL trainers were Mr Adarsh and Ms Chaitanya.

The session began with students learning the effective ways to improve the delivery of speech confidently. Self-confidence and Communication skills go hand in hand and they help each other at every point of time.7 C’s of communication was touched upon. The trainers also emphasized on verbal, non verbal communication skills & body language by involving the students with learning activities.

The CIL training also threw light on the present scenario of the corporate world, providing the much needed highlight on how the companies recruit employees. This really helped the students to understand how one must train in order to face the future job interviews.

In the noon, the training continued in an informal way and students were engaged in participative learning. The program was filled with interactive activities for overall development and helped all in enhancing their communication skills.
