By competing in college sports, students learn important skills such as leadership, time management and how to work with others towards a common goal. These experiences can open doors for many who will compete professionally in the immediate future. Hence, students at DSBA get ample opportunities to participate in sporting activities.
On 10 Feb’18 an Interclass Outdoor Sports Competition was held for both boys and girls during the college hours.
The events were coordinated by Prof Prakasha, Faculty in Charge-Sports. Prof Lakshmikantha assisted him .The student co-ordinators were Mr Sugandh, Mr Ruthvik Raj and Mr Punith Kumar [VI Sem BCom]
The events were as follows:
Girls
Throw ball [2 Teams from each Class-Each team consisting of 7+ 2 players]
Boys
Volley ball [2 Teams from each class. Each team consisting of 6+2 players]
Cricket [2 Teams from each class. Each team consisting of 7+1 players]
