Essay Competition on Independence Day

NICT Computer Education Pvt Ltd in association with Tally conducted an essay writing competition for Bangalore City PU & Degree Commerce Students.

     The Literary Club ‘The Urban Reader’ at DSBA conducted the competition on 13th August ’18 in Room G-05 at 11:45 am at DSBA.

The topic was India’s struggle for Independence.

Word limit given was 300 words.

NICT had provided the poster writing sheets for the students.

Exuberant English creative writers pursuing under graduation course took part wholeheartedly!

The competition was coordinated by Literary Club Co-ordinator Prof Meera Krishnan. The competition commenced in the presence of Dr [Brig] Sandes, Principal [DSBA] and Dr Veena K N, Dean [DSBA]. The competition was judged in-house.

The following were adjudged the winners of the competition:

First Prize: Ms Namratha K C [III Year BCom Á’]

Second Prize: Mr Krishnesh S [III Year BCom ’B’]

Third Prize: Ms Rifha Mariame [II Year BCom ‘B’]

The winners will be awarded cash prizes by NICT on the Independence Day’18!
