Ms Radha covered the following in her introduction to BFSI sessions-the current development in the Indian scenario with respect to economic conditions, commercial banks, stock market, non-banking financial corporation, RBI, Insurance, wealth management, co-operatives, pension policies, service sector and mutual funds.  In addition, she gave an insight to students on Macro and Micro economics, inflation, deflation, GST, Opportunity costs and derivatives.

In the noon session, she highlighted on the GDP rate of the economy and how the NSI and BSI operates. Further, she explained about financial markets and their types, call money market, commercial bill market, commercial paper market, short loan market etc.

It was an invigorating and informative session as they were many concepts that the students hadn’t come across so far and for commerce students such sessions can be huge payoffs.
