Digital Marketing Certification program for II Year BBA Students

In the era of booming technology, students need to gear up to survive the tech governed environment of tomorrow.  Hence, Digital Marketing Certification Program was conduced for IV Sem BBA students from the 3 Feb’19 to 6th feb’19 at the computer lab from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Mr Supreeth Garla was the trainer for the sessions. He is the Executive Director of NICT Computer Education Pvt Ltd. A trainer by passion, he moved away from the prestigious post as Managing Director of Bliss Chocolates Pvt Ltd, and entered into the training world. Ever since, he has had opportunity to train more than 1500 MBA students, marketing professionals, freelancers, business owners on Digital Marketing, SEO, Google AdWords, Email Marketing, Google Analysis many more. He has more than 500 hours of experience in training on Digital Marketing topics and also placed many students & professionals’ in jobs in the Digital Marketing field.

Mr. Supreeth, marked the start of the much-needed course. He warmed up the session with a fun game and captured our attention. Just as the program moved into the real deal of the current scenario of Digital marketing, we were given a self-assessment questionnaire to measure where we stood when compared to the corporate demands. That was indeed a reality check as we learned that we were quite far from the requisites and then very smoothly the class was captivated by the former entrepreneur’s pellucid presentation!

He laid out the facts and showcased the hidden opportunities that proves that the internet is the key for future money making. Some truths of the real day life created a buzz in the class on how we all do it daily and never even realized it, for instance, an average person spends 54% of his/her life, online.  By then, the students understood and settled under the focus of digital marketing.

 

Firstly, we were shown the power of Facebook marketing and its vast potential. The ocean of options provided on Facebook makes it ultra-easy to use and we learned how to exploit it to its maximum with our humble trainer’s help. The session next day was immensely educational as we learned how to set up a Google business. Google being an omnipotent platform has phenomenal uses. Our trainer showed us how we could set up our business on Google and later on how to promote our work. It was fantastic to learn that with a few clicks one could reach people miles away.

Amazon was the next focus, a presentation showcased how we could sell on Amazon and how E-commerce platform functions. It was truly an exposure and just as we thought we had learned it all, Mr. Supreeth introduced us to marketing on YouTube. This was very new to us and we thoroughly enjoyed learning how this mega digital layout works.

As we came to an end, the students worked their way through a Google exam. Fortunately, with no failures, students of 4th sem BBA had become Google certified digital marketers.
