International Women’s Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. It is a day when women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political. It has assumed a new global dimension for women and this is a very special day when she gets all that loving, caring and sharing back with interest.

On 8th March ’19 at 10:30 am, Dr [Brig] Sandes, Principal -DSBA and male faculty of DSBA invited all the women faculty to the Principal’s Chamber to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Two super delicious cakes were placed on the table. One could smell the aroma of the splendid cakes the moment one entered the room. Dr Veena K N, Dean -DSBA and Prof Nikitha Sreekantha, HOD-DSBA arrived with women faculty. An occasion is simply incomplete, if there's no cake cutting ceremony and hence, after the women’s day greetings, the women faculty cut the cakes in the presence of the male faculty.

This special gesture of the men, made the women feel really important and appreciated.
