Report on Pinkathon Marathon

Bajaj Electricals Pinkathon, Bengaluru -India’s Biggest Women’s run was successfully conducted on 27th Jan’19. Pinkathon is more than a Marathon. It is the seed of change. Milind Soman is the founder and Reema Sanghavi is the co-founder of Pinkathon. The run has carved out a niche of being more than a marathon. It’s a movement that is carried forward by a growing community of empowered women across India through the years.

The focus of the women’s run is to encourage an active lifestyle and overall fitness among women, while creating a much-needed awareness about breast cancer and bone health. It is the beginning of a movement carried forward by a growing community of empowered women across India, who share a belief that a healthy family, a healthy nation and a healthy world begins with empowered women. The first step in empowerment is taking control of one’s own health, respecting oneself and understanding and celebrating the value one can bring to the family and society. Empowerment is not a gift of society; it is a gift that one can give oneself.
