All the activities conducted in the institution play a significant role in development of students. Co-curricular activities are an essential part of college life and help in enhancing learning process of students at college. Co-Curricular activities are compulsory activities and every student is expected to participate in them. They are designed and balanced with academic curriculum so that every student gets to learn beyond the courses.
Co-curricular activities are meant to bring social skills, intellectual skills, moral values, personality progress and character appeal in students. It includes athletics, cultural events, club activities, classroom activities, etc.
The co-curricular activities conducted during the academic year 2018-2109 were:
Inter class Indoor sports competition on 14th July 2018
Inter class Outdoor sports competition on 28th July 2018
Club Activities on 25th August 2018
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas activity on 31st October 2018
Analysis of Union Budget’19 on 7th and 8th February 2019
Inter class Indoor sports competition on 9th February 2019
Inter class Outdoor sports competition on 23rd February 2019
Ambedkar Jayanti Logo Contest on 15th April 2019
Prize winners of the above-mentioned activities were awarded with certificates by Dr [Brig] Sandes, Principal and Prof Nikitha Sreekantha, HOD on the Award Day that was held on 17th May 2019 between 11:45am and 12:45 pm at G-05. Prof Meera Krishnan coordinated the event.
In addition, the student volunteers who helped coordinate the International Conference that was held on 29th March 2019 were also awarded certificates.
During the International Conference ’19, faculty at DSBA had been assigned various roles and responsibilities for the smooth conduct of the conference. All were awarded certificates by the Principal, Dr [Brig] Sandes in his chamber at 1 pm on 17th May 2019.
