The aim of the interactive session on ‘Personal Effectiveness’ was to enhance a person’s personal skills so as to maximize his/her potential and attain excellence.

CIL session mainly dealt with the following topics : innate characteristics-talents and experience; skills that will greatly increase the efficiency of any person-determination, assertiveness, self-confidence, persistence, managing stress, problem solving skills, creativity, ideas generation etc; goal setting- the formal process for personal planning ,establishment and prioritization of goals, effective goal setting, personal goal setting, and time management.

The individual and group activities conducted during the training session further drove home the point.

Many a times, one holds themselves back from the things they want to do because their own self-limiting beliefs are telling them that they can’t do something or they shouldn’t be doing it. But one can. One just needs to change their mind set and become personally effective. Students learnt this message and that was delivered well during the one-day training!
