Placement Training is an important aspect of any student's life. High emphasis on it prepares students to excel at interviews and recruitment processes. In order to truly empower students, the session began with resume writing. Writing the first resume is a major step in any new professional's career. Students were given the tips, outline, format, do's and don'ts of resume writing. Then the students practised writing their resume.

Group Discussion is an important tool in the selection process. Hence, the next topic for discussion was GD. The trainer’s talk highlighted on what an effective GD is, why would one lead a GD, when might one lead a GD, how does one lead a GD and Do's and don'ts for discussion leaders. Post noon, students were formed into groups and a practise GD session was conducted.

The last topic of discussion was interview, the most important in selection process. One has to have one’s act together, or one won't stand a chance against the competition in the present-day world. There is no way one can predict what an interview holds, but by following some important rules one will feel less perturbed and be ready to positively present oneself.

Hence, the trainers discussed the way to improve performance at an interview, how to prepare for a job interview and tips for successful interview. A mock interview was conducted towards the end of the session.

The participating students highly appreciated the training and termed it as immensely beneficial.
