DSBA Cadets attend CATC -6

The basic aim of the Combined Annual Training Camp [CATC] is to introduce the cadets to a regimented way of life which also helps in developing various skills like team work, leadership qualities, self-confidence, self-reliance and dignity of labour . For a cadet, meeting cadets  from other institutions improves their camaraderie and comradeship. The camp acts as a refresher training for the cadets who get an opportunity to excel themselves.

21 cadets from DSBA attended Combined Annual Training Camp -6 from 26 Aug’19 to 4 Sept ’19 at Tumkur.The camp was conducted by 2 Karnataka Battalion NCC headed by Col. Varun Luthra and Maj Renu Kumari .More than 500 cadets from different institutions of Karnataka  and 60 officers and Physical Instructor staff were involved in this camp.

During the camp, various activities were organised like games, cultural activities, educational activities and NCC activities like Drill and PT, marching, firing practise, map reading, weapon training, knowledge of commands etc.

Cadets Likith, Sampoorna and Rishi Patel brought laurels to the instituions by winning medals in Sports and cultural events.
