Report on NCC CATC- IX & IGC RDC -II

11 cadets and Lt M G Nagaraju –ANO, DSBA attended the Combined Annual Training Camp [CATC] -IX/Pre Inter Group Competition [IGC] Republic Day Camp [RDC]-2 that was held at Govt. PU College premises, Doddaballapur from 10^th October 2019 to 19^th October 2019.More than 380 cadets, 12 ANOs, 25 JC0s and NCOs from different institutions from all across Bangalore participated in this camp.

In this ten-day camp, the camp routine commenced with PT at 5:30 am and concluded with Roll Call Parade at 8 pm.Cadets were trained in drill, map reading, weapon training, firing, tent pitching , B and C Certificate Examinations.

It is matter of pride that Cadets Sampoorna, Aruna and Preethi Kumari have been selected for the next level of Pre IGC RDC-3 Camp.

All the cadets were actively involved in sports, cultural and drill competition during the camp. DSBA Cadets who won medals are Mohasin Taj, Namrah, Muskaan, Raj Kishore, Tapan, and Rakesh.

 Camp was conducted by 2 Karnataka Battalion NCC headed by the Camp Commandant, Col Varun Luthra and Deputy Commandant, Maj. Renu Kumari.
