Knowledge Sharing Session on Preparing for Competitive Exams

 

On 8th Feb 2020, Knowledge sharing session on preparing for Competitive Exams was conducted for the final year students at Room G-04 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

The session was conducted by Career Launcher [CL Educate Ltd], Vijaynagar centre.

The facilitators were Mr Ganaraj Khandige and Mr Umesh.

Mr Ganaraj Khandige has a BE from Canara Engineering college. He has been a senior consultant at Career Launcher and Deputy Director of Corporate and Public Relations at AIMS Institutes, with a demonstrated experience of working in the higher education industry, handling Placements and Career Counselling majorly for the Management Students. He is Skilled at Customer/Client Relationship Management (CRM), HR Policies, Market Research and English. He is strong media and communication professional with a PGDM focused in Marketing/Marketing Management and Operations Management from IFIM Business School.

In the first part of the session, the trainer enlightened the students about the corporate world followed by an overview on the various competitive exams such as MBA/CAT, Law/CLAT and UPSC Civil Services. Mr Ganaraj mentioned that the training programs offered at Career Launcher is designed to nurture potential and systematically prepare students to pursue, and achieve their career dreams.

He further elaborated on the charges for the training program of 85 hours for the national level competitive exams as Rs 6500. In case even thirty students showed interest in the training program, Mr Ganaraj said that the training classes could be conducted at the college itself.

The next session focused on the government opportunities available to the students’ .It was conducted by Mr Umesh; he works at Raj Bhavan, Bangalore. He gave an insight and in depth details about KPSC exams.

 

 

Soon after the session, all interested students approached the facilitators and gained additional information about the competitive exams.

 

 

 

The orientation session helped students gain knowledge on the various opportunities they have. They found the session very useful and helpful.
