DSBA Cadet's initiatives in Ex-NCC Yogdaan

DSBA NCC Cadets under the aegis of 2 Kar Bn NCC and Group HQ ’A’ Bengaluru formed part of Ex-Yogdaan on 01 May 2020 and participated in the Grocery Kits and Mask Distribution Programme.

At Tathaguni, Kanakapura Road, Prof Nagaraju-ANO, DSBA; 02 SD and 04 SW cadets distributed 110 grocery kits to the old, poor, needy daily wage earners and migrant workers from different parts of the country directly affected by the aftermath of COVID-19. Each grocery kit contained the essentials-raw rice, toor dal, onions and masks.

The amount was contributed by the ANO and the cadets.

This noble initiative was carried out by the NCC with the support of Kaggalipura Police and the selected village authorities.

Further, initiatives were taken by SGT Chirag Shetty K, SGT Chethan C , CPL Kruthika R and LCPL Aniruddh G Rao to create public awareness about COVD-19- the symptoms, how one can keep themselves safe and importance of social distancing.

SGT Keerthana R and SGT Pooja V Jain provided information on the steps and use of Aarogya Setu App developed by the Govt. of India.

SGT Aruna J also provided inputs on how the pandemic spreads and how to protect oneself.
