A Technical Demo Session on ‘Google Classroom’ was held for DSBA Faculty on 22 May 2020 at 3 pm at DSBA Computer Lab.
Dr N R Solomon, DSBA Faculty conducted the session. Dr [Brig] Sandes, Principal; Dr Veena K N, Dean and Prof Nikitha Sreekantha, HOD were present at the session.
As a result of Covid-19 pandemic, education has changed dramatically, with the distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms. Google Classroom can transform teaching and learning culture across the educational institutions, engaging students and supporting better teaching. With Classroom, educators can create classes, distribute assignments, grade and send feedback, and see everything in one place.
Dr Solomon gave a demo session and later guided the faculty giving step by step instruction on how to use Google Classroom effectively .By 4:15 pm ,all faculty present learned the nitty gritties and were ready to use Google Classroom in handing out assignments to students with immediate effect.
