DSBA Students Participate in YCC 2020

SKILLABLERS is based out-of-Bangalore and is the brain-child of EDC Creative Technology Solutions (EDC) an award-winning, technology solutions provider. The Skillablers Platform enables real  time connect of individuals with career curated courses from Institutions and access to direct employment-n-internship opportunities from prospective employers across Industries.

Youth Career Connect 2020 (YCC 2020), a global online event organized by SKILLABLERS – was a 2-week long discussion series – The Millennials Dialogue – to brain-storm the Youth perspective during these pandemic times. This was an opportunity for Youth to interact with experts from various industries to gain a better perspective of the existing prospects, trends, and tips so as to plan effective career paths for themselves. The event brought together aspiring and like-minded youth with the expert panelists to brainstorm and evolve meaningful dialogue for a better tomorrow. 

The objective of this event was to address the way forward from Youth -perspective across 35+ Industry Verticals which included Advertising, Agriculture and Allied Sciences, Alternate professions [RJ/VT/Blogger/Vlogger/You Tuber], Architecture, Art and Design, Audio-Visual Engineering, Automobile engineering, Aviation & Allied Services, Banking & Finance, Civil Engineering, Converging Industries, Defense Services, Digital World, E-Commerce/Logistics, Edtech, Engineering, Entertainment, Fashion Design & Technology, Future Skills, Gaming, Global Citizen-Beyond Indian Shores, Government, Healthcare, Hospitality, International Education, IT-Ites, Legal Services, Management, Manufacturing, Media & Publications, NGO Sector, Nursing Pharmacy, PR & Event Management, Retail, Sports Administration & Fitness, Travel & Tourism, Visual Profiling, Vocational Skilling , Wellness etc.    

The participating target audience for the event included: College Students & Faculty Members; Graduating Youth; Young Professionals; Expat Indians and Job Aspirants.

• Total Sessions: Everyday-4 Sessions; All Days-40 sessions
• Allsessions were in Panel Discussion format- a maximum of four panelists. Representations -1 [Industry]; 1 [Institution]; 2 [Youth] and 1 Moderator [from Specific Industry]
• Panel Discussions were for 60 minutes each
• Panellists were highly experienced to maintain maximum connect-n-impact with Youth 

DSBA students and faculty registered for 2-weeks mega online event which commenced on 29^th July 2020 with an inaugural programme and culminated with a Valedictory function on 15^th August 2020. 

The sessions began everyday at 9 am with an inspiring keynote address. Many days of the online event ended with challenges, competitions, musical live performances, and industry awareness quizzes and so on!
