DSBAs academic administrative staff as well as the housekeeping staff ensured all arrangements for the pooja was completed in time. The earmarked platform looked festive; bedecked with garlanded images of Gods and Goddess; banana stems with leaves, colourful flowers and mango leaves, fruits and sweets; tools, books and implements of vocation and a beautiful rangoli on the floor.

At 12:30 pm, Dr [Brig] Sandes, Principal; Dr Veena K N, Dean; Dr. Nikitha Sreekantha, HOD faculty and non- teaching faculty assembled at the Department Library.

Dr. Damodar recited the Sanskrit shlokas while Prof Hari Krishna lit the lamps and performed the pooja by offering flowers, fruits and coconut and applying turmeric and vermillion paste on all the items including ash gourd, which plays a key role in the Ayudha Puja.
