HEARTFULNESS EXPERIENCE OF LIFE’S POTENTIAL(HELP)

HEARTFULNESS

Heartfulness is a heart-centered approach to life, where one will ideally be able to live each moment by the heart. It is to live naturally, in tune with the noble qualities of a heart, enlightened and refined through spiritual practice. These qualities include compassion, sincerity, contentment, truthfulness, and forgiveness; attitudes such as generosity and acceptance; and the heart’s fundamental nature, which is love.

THE HEARTFULNESS PRACTICES

Heartfulness includes four essential practices, which an individual may learn and integrate into life at their own pace.

They are: Relaxation, Meditation, Cleaning, Prayer

HEARTFULNESS RELAXATION

Relaxation can be done at any time, and is especially useful before beginning Heartfulness Meditation. Sit comfortably and close eyes very kindly and gently.  Begin with the toes. Wiggle them and feel relaxed. The healing energy can be felt moving further up one’s legs. Relax the thighs too.

The whole body will feel completely relaxed. Scan the system from top to toe, and if there is any part of the body that is still tense, painful or unwell, it can be immersed in the healing energy of Mother Earth for a little while longer.

HEARTFULNESS MEDITATION

Sit comfortably. Gently close the eyes and relax. If needed, take a couple of minutes to relax the body by doing the Heartfulness Relaxation.

Relax into that feeling gently. If one finds the awareness drifting to other thoughts, one must not fight them nor entertain them. Let them be, while simply reminding oneself that meditation is on the Source of divine Light in their heart.

One can become more and more absorbed within and remain absorbed within that deep silence for as long as one wants, until one feels ready to come out of the meditation.

HEARTFULNESS CLEANING

Cleaning practice must be done at the end of the day’s work, preferably not too close to bedtime. This process rejuvenates and purifies the system of any accumulated heaviness.

Close eyes and relax. Imagine all the complexities and impurities are leaving the entire system. Gently accelerate this process with confidence and determination.

If the attention drifts and other thoughts come to mind, gently bring the focus back to the cleaning. As the impressions are leaving from the back one starts to feel lighter. Finish with the conviction that the cleaning has been completed effectively.

HEARTFULNESS PRAYER

This prayer is offered at bedtime, as a way of connecting to the Source before sleep. This may take around ten to fifteen minutes. It is also offered before meditation in the morning.

At bedtime, sit comfortably, gently close the eyes, and relax. Silently and slowly repeat the words of the prayer below. Meditate for ten to fifteen minutes over the true meaning, feeling the words resonate in the heart rather than trying to analyze them. Let the meaning surface from within. Try to get lost in it. Go beyond the words and let the feeling come to oneself.
