On 8th of November 2021, the DSBA family came together to bid a goodbye to the outgoing students of B.COM , BBA and BCA. It was an afternoon filled with mixed emotions and great enthusiasm. The school auditorium was beautifully decorated but there were somewhere the waves of emotions clinging everyone.

The programme commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony by the outgoing students and followed with prayer by the choir group to seek the blessings of the almighty.  There come the most awaited moment, the cultural programs and games. The first-year students began with an exciting dance that included a mix of various songs. Then followed by  a game called “ flip flap flop” where they were given 5 cups each and had to flip them just like how they flip a bottle and make a pyramid.

Moving on, there were a variety of cultural programmes, including dancing performances by second and final year students, as well as singing performances by second year BBA students who jammed to various Hindi and English songs. Later, in between the cultural programmes, a variety of games were performed, including "straws and gems," in which participants had to pick a single gem via a straw and drop it into the other cup. They had a great time participating and truly enjoyed the games.

Dr. Veena KN, the principal, later spoke to the students and wished them well in their future endeavours. After that, we had a prize disturbance for the departing students. Certificates and medals were given to the top students for best volunteers NSS and best cadets in NCC. Even the finest outgoing student from each programme was recognised and given certificates. Chetan from BBA ,Chirag from BCA and Harsitha from BCOM were awarded the best outgoing students .Later, as a token of love, each student received a class photo frame and a card.

Finally, the exiting students stepped up to discuss their experiences and lessons learned throughout their college years, and emotions flew. A slideshow was presented at the end of their three years in college to commemorate all of their wonderful memories, and it was difficult to say goodbye.

“Saying goodbye doesn’t mean anything. It’s the time we spent together that matters, not how we left it.” – Trey Parker

It was very hard to say goodbyes, it was a wholesome beautiful, emotional and memorable 3 years experience  and journey of the students at DSBA .
