On 25th November 2021, Dayananda Sagar Business Academy had arranged CIL Program for the students. The session commenced at 9:30 A.M -4:30 P.M in the respected class room.
Miss.Jeevitha .P.Raju is a soft skill trainer and she has been training over few years and has trained more than 20 thousand students and teachers . She is well versed in 5 languages and has been awarded best speaker in public speaking.She has also completed her public speaking training in one of the reputed company Toastmaster.
The session started with an activity in which we all were made to sit in pair with the people whom we have interacted least and each pair had to come up with 3 common things between them . After that we all got to know a few things about our classmates.
The 2nd activity was about the effective way of Communication which was demonstrated with an activity.There were 2 students called up and she drew a diagram which they both had to instruct the rest of students to draw the same by just instructing them without any actions. Later she explained how it’s important to convey the information the same way it was this helped us learn more regarding effective communication
She then gave everyone few tips on how one can effectively communicate with the people.
The 3rd activity was a game called Chinese whisper in which the class was divided into 4 grous and a phrase was given to each 1st person person of the group and the same had to be conveyed to the last person,this game was fun and end the last person had to come and tell it
aloud to the whole class . Through this game we all learnt how it is to convey our thoughts and words in an appropriate manner to each and everyone .
Then she called up few students and let them introduce themselves in few simple words and then she thought us how we can prepare ourselves for upcoming campus selection interview.
Then she Started off dividing class into 4 grous and made us play dumsharads game through which we got to know the importance of body language and how one can convey a message even without speaking. Then the last activity was presentation on importance of 7 C ‘s of communication and there were 7 groups made and we had been provided 10 min to prepare for the presentation on the assigned topics .Here all the teams presented the topics and she finally explained in detals how the 7 C ‘s are important in day to day conversation.
At last she gave a brief conclusion regarding how communication is important in each stage of life . The session was very useful and informative. We had great learning experience as it was filled with lots of activities.
