The session mainly revolved around essentials and importance of effective communication. It started with an introduction of each other in the class in the form of activity where each person has to introduce his/her classmate; this activity highlights the importance of listening and retaining information with clarity. Then, the categories of tools of communication were explained briefly. It was followed with a fun filled activity of ‘the cop and king of thieves’, that taught is the importance of observation, facial expression and body language.
Later, a group game of ‘drawing and guessing the object’ was played to understand the significance of perception, listening and imagination. The trainer then touched upon 7 C’s of communication. The session ended with a concluding note by trainer, followed by feedback.
