BLOOD DONATION CAMP ON OCCASION OF 73rd NCC DAY

The battalion conducted the blood donation camp at Government Arts college Bangalore on 28 November 2021 on occasion of celebrates 73rd anniversary of its raising.

We reported the college site at 8:00 am. Then we had breakfast at 9 am. Then they gave forms to fill our bio data based on our health, like name , DOB , Age , Blood group etc. Doctor was checking our BP level , weight , haemoglobin level to see if the cadet is eligible to give the blood or not. And if the haemoglobin and BP level were less they were not eligible to give the blood.

Most of the cadets from different colleges donated blood. refreshment was given to those cadets who donated blood.

Proud to tell that, there were 8 cadets who donated blood from our college out of 15, and even the BLOOD DONATION CERTIFICATE was given.

And all the cadets came to know how important is the blood donation to one’s body because donating blood is very beneficial for the donor as well as the acceptor. It saves lives and helps people overcome their critical situation . The blood donor’s body gets revitalized and generates new corpuscles .

And then they had arranged lunch at the college canteen at 1:00pm,then we left for home and safely reached. We learnt how important is Blood for Human Survival. We got best experience and knowledge.

National cadet corps celebrates 73rd anniversary of its raising . Cadets of DSBA , other institutions cadets , officers in different ranks across the country has attended celebratory events , participating in marches, blood donation camps, and other social welfare programmes.
