Mr Gautam Raj Anand born in Mumbai, graduated from Shri Ram School after which he went to Delhi University majoring in Economics honours. At a very young age he had found his passion in developing the audio content. The ease and simplicity of audio content consumption has drastically increased that led to creation of India’s largest podcasting and audio on demand company for Gautam. He has been recognised as a member of the Forbes 30 under 30 in Asia for media and technology (batch of 2018) and has grown massively and has been nominated on the Economic Times 40 under 40 list.

Gautam founder and CEO of Hubhopper is India’s largest podcasting platform. It helps to host, distribute and discover a podcast by the new creators.

Mr Gautam in his rendezvous with Mr Shashikumar C R highlighted the style of podcast that suits the audience; how the Hubhopper offers contents to the fresh creators; monetizing the show and the challenges faced during the pandemic. The process of creating a content undergoes multiple phases such as the ideation phase, hosting platform, recording the content, editing it with music or the background disturbances and later uploading the content with the 48hrs of creating it.

 He also acknowledged us about the promotion of podcast not only limited to distributing on different apps but also by creating our websites and publishing on it. He advised the students who wish to pursue their career in this field which does not evolve any skills but a right way of approach to the story telling and the ability to attract the customers is like a roller coaster journey. However, Hubhopper urges to bridge the gap between content creators of all sizes with the consumer in need of varied content to lay the foundation for his venture.
