On 18th June 2022, at 10:55 am on behalf of the IT club at Dayananda Sagar Business Academy had organised a talk on the various types of Software Developers in the Industry and the job role on demand in the technical sector was discussed. The emcee of the day was Prof. Vasudev Rao introduced the key speaker Mr. Sourabh Kumar Sinha, an alumnus of Dayananda Sagar is presently working as a software engineer at Walmart enlightened the students on the developers’ roles and responsibilities and the certification to be done to become a developer.
With the growth in demand of the skillful professional in the IT industry freshers have to be well informed about the responsibility of software engineers in the field. Some of the types of software engineers are Frontend engineer, backend engineer, full stack engineer, QA engineer, Devops engineer, data engineer. The extensively demanding is full stack engineer under which there are three types, MERN stack, MEAN stack and Java stack developers. Some of the software testing tools were also acknowledged in the session and the certification that can be done as a blooming fresher who wish to pursue their career in IT sector which helps them to plan on a long-term basis.
The event concluded with question and answer from the faculty and students followed by few words of wisdom from our principal and vote of thanks was conveyed by Prof. Vasudev Rao.
