The battalion conducted the ATC camp at BEL High School from 1st may to 10th may 2022.This camp was mainly held to train cadets for the certificate examinations and also select the cadets for RDC parade and TSC. Close to 400 cadets attended the camp. All the necessary precautionary measures were taken and camp was conducted adhering to the covid-19 guidelines.

We reported at the camp site at 10:00 a.m on day 1, The activity for the first day was document verification and biometric process on completion of which we were assigned respective rooms in the barrack. We had lunch and tea breaks in the middle. The roll call parade was conducted at 6:00 p.m where our AO, Lt Col DS Thakur sir, addressed the cadets regarding the guidelines that had to be followed throughout the camp. Soon after we were divided into 4 companies namely Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta. We were randomly divided into diferrent companies giving us the opportunity to mingle with other cadets, show the team spirit irrespective of our colleges and bring out our individual talents.

Throughout the camp a standard and strict routine was followed everyday we had to fall in at 5:30 A.M sharp for the P.T wherein we had to jog for 4kms thus increasing our stamina. We then had breakfast and some spare time to get into our uniforms for the parade practice from  8:30-11a.m.During this time we were taught different salutes, drill ,stampings etc. We also learnt weapon drill along with kholna-jodna of 0.22 rifle. We also had theory session every day and a lot of topics were covered related to the exams like map reading, organization of armed forces, weapon handling ,health and hygiene, personality development ,how to attend our certificate examinations, leadership qualities and SSB interview training by AO sir’s son Nishant  Thakur.

Good quality food was served throughout the camp giving importance to standard of the food with variety of options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarians.

At 6:00 p.m we had roll call parade everyday where details of the next days schedule was briefed.

We had dinner from 7:30 P.M – 8:30 P.M after which we were assigned time to practise for various cultural events. We used to reach our barracks by 10 P.M and we were supposed to switch off the lights by 10:30 P.M.

During the entire camp we were continously battling against other companies in numerous events. In the evening sessions we learnt different firing positions. The next day we were given opportunity to fire 5 rounds in 0.22 rifle. We also got a chance to learn tent pitching and successfully completed the event in 10 minutes. We also had drill competetion, where cadets were seen in their best turnout and high josh.

We had sessions taken by “FIRE FIGHTERS” who informed us the guidelines and steps one should take in case of fire or other fire related fire related accidents.

We also had a session by the “NATIONAL DISASTER RESPONSE FORCE” who informed us about the necessary steps one has to take in the wake of any disaster.

On the last day of the camp in the evening there was cultural programmes including dance, singing, skit competitions. Then came the moment for which all cadets were enthusiastically waiting , the announcement of results of different competitions. At night we were served with special dinner also called as "Bada Khanna".

Even though only one company won the trophy yet everyone participated with whole sportsman spirit and gave their best. We understood the literal meaning of "when the situation gets tough, the tough gets going". Even though at the end of the day we would be physically exhausted yet we would be mentally satisfied and happy. In all we got best experience and memories for lifetime.
