She is an entrepreneur, educator and the founder/ Creative Head of House of Kalaa which works on artisanal based products and styles in the genre of architecture, interior design and product design. Her expertise in communication and design has led her to explore entrepreneurial segments of art, design and architecture. She has predominantly worked in the academic sector and is also currently an Assistant Professor for Interior Design. She has worked as a visiting professor at BMS School of Architecture.
