FINANCE SPECIALISATION ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
Finance Club of Dayananda Sagar Business Academy had organized Finance Orientation Programme for the classes Second year BBA and BCOM students on 29th Sept 2021. The webinar was conducted on Zoom platform from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM .
Professor Sanjeev, Dayananda Sagar Business Academy begun the webinar by welcoming the gathering and introducing the Resource Person Deepak R Assistant Professor MBA Ph.D (Manipal University) DSCE,
Dr Deepak R Assistant Professor in Finance and Business analytics at department of management studies DSCE. He has ample amount of teaching experience in handling financial subjecs. He has presented more than 50 papers in National and international conferences and he has conducted workshops seminars fdps on Time series ,Data analysis using Excel stock market simulation ,
Dr Deepak begin the orientation by giving introduction to finance and economics explain the various job opportunities after graduation she also spoke about investors relations and it took an example of Siemens company and explain students regarding financial aspect of that company
The Resource person also spoke about different aspects like annual report analysis, Cash flow statements and gave brief introduction about accounting concepts . Resource person of the day also mentioned importance of Micro and Macro economics. He gave brief introduction about commodity options and mentioned various workshops for student and beginners .
The source of the day mention various professional certificate programs in commodity market for students he also highlighted . about various financial jobs for students in the field of finance
The session also highlighted the importance important aspect of financial goal setting investment and also about various financial opportunities the session was very informative with valuable inputs useful for students.
