World Environment Day is observed annually on June 5th to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote global action to protect the planet It's a day for organisation to come together and take positive actions for the environment, likewise DSBA NSS wing organised plantation drive in two prominent vicinities.
a. Government Community health center- Kaggalipura in collaboration with Grama panchayath Kaggalipura
b. Shanthidhama - old age home.
Around 50 saplings of plants were planted by 35 NSS volunteers of NSS in the above two vicinities. Fruit bearing and medicinal value saplings were planted with the oath of protecting the environment.
