A lot of perils from different corners of the society are distracting the youth enormously. Among the various negative forces driving young minds into darkness, addiction towards drugs has been most dreadful. Age, peer-pressure and mis-conception about trending life style make youngsters especially students susceptible to get into the habit of taking drugs. Awareness can prove to be very impactful in preventing students falling prey to drugs. So, in this regard , NCC – 6/2 COY DSBA unit organised a public awareness programm in collaboration with Cadban’s , Centre for Rehabilitation, Bengaluru on 26th June 2023 at 5th block Jayanagar and covered a distance of 2.5 kms. A total number of 25 cadets from DSBA participated actively along with 200 other participants.
