On 22/08/2023 a speaking session on personality and career compatibility was organized in Dayananda Sagar Business Academy. The main aim of this event was to create awareness on how students must take decisions in the field of career and enabling students to know about different personalities

It was indeed a very great session where sir taught us about different personalities in an organisation, i.e. an introvert personality and an extrovert personality.

A picture was shown to the students and was asked us to tell our opinion about it; the picture was all about a family that was into agriculture. The main objective of representing that picture to us was to make us understand about different perspectives of each individual’s and their answering capabilities, each one of them answered in a unique way and they showcased their different thinking abilities.

He also made the complete session very interactive where all the students participated actively with lots of enthusiasm

This session also made students know how much important a positive communication is in a working environment, there were various examples that made it very easier to understand

Few of them were:

How to approach the manager when we need an increment or incentive

How to communicate with the co workers in a polite way, and much Next he moved on to a topic called introvert and extrovert he behaviour:

He firstly asked us what we knew about these two words, many of them answered, after hearing our answers he first told us the exact meaning of these two words

He told us that, introverts and extroverts seek energy in different ways. Introverts required fewer stimuli, they prefer one-on-one friendships whereas extroverts enjoy more stimulation and reflect outwardly when processing feelings or spending quality time with people around them and meeting people too!

There were many researches done in order to state which kind of people were the happier, introverts or extroverts.

Coming to the business environment the best personality to adopt was to be an extrovert, because it made people communicate in an effective way and also helped to keep away the fear of meeting new people

TO SUM UP, IT WAS A WELL THOUGHT-OUT SESSION OF MOTIVATING THE STUDENTS TO DISCOVER THEMSELVES!
