Indian epics, fables and legends have tales of heroism and morality. Indian mythology contains a vast and ancient array of tales, which are stimulating, entertaining and have a moral lesson behind them. These mythological stories have been around for centuries, been passed from one generation to another and have narrated stories across cultures fostering unity and warmth.

On account of Dasara, ‘Samskruthi’ - The Cultural Club, of Dayananda Sagar Business Academy had organised a ‘Story Telling Competition’ on 17th October, 2023. The students were given 3 to 6 minutes to narrate a mythological story in any language. The competition was held from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm in G04 (B block).

We had 11 enthusiastic participants who narrated compelling stories of Navaratri, Ramayana, Kabbalamma, Kumbakarana, The war of Kalinga and many more. The competition was judged by Prof. Keerthi ma’am, Prof. Ramya ma’am, Prof. Mahalinga Prabhu sir and Prof. HariKrishna sir. The participants were successful in painting evocative images in the minds of the listeners. The event was successful in bringing out some euphonious narrators.
