Dayananda Sagar Business Academy (DSBA) is proud to host the second edition of DSBA Model United Nations (DSBA MUN) 2026, As an institution committed to academic excellence, leadership, and global engagement, we aim to create a dynamic platform where students can engage in thought-provoking discussions, policy-making, and diplomacy.

The DSBA MUN 2026 is designed to be an intellectually stimulating and immersive experience, bringing together students, future leaders, and aspiring diplomats to deliberate on some of the most pressing global challenges. Our goal is to cultivate a new generation of decision-makers who will lead with knowledge, integrity, and empathy.

The Dayananda Sagar Business Academy Model United Nations (DSBA MUN) is a premier platform for young leaders to engage in diplomatic simulations, debate global issues, and develop critical leadership skills. Through immersive experiences and collaborative problem-solving, participants gain a deeper understanding of international relations and cultivate the skills necessary to shape a better future.

Committees

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is the primary deliberative body of the United Nations (UN), where all 193 member states have equal representation. It serves as a global platform for diplomacy, discussion, and decision-making on the world’s most pressing issues, from peace and security to human rights, sustainable development, and international law.

Agenda: “Regulating Private Military Companies and Non - State Actors in Armed Conflicts.”

The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is a key body within the UN responsible for promoting and protecting human rights worldwide. Established in 2006, it addresses issues such as freedom of speech, gender equality, refugee rights, and the fight against discrimination and injustice.

Agenda: “Regulating the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Policing and Surveillance”

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is the most powerful body of the United Nations (UN), responsible for maintaining international peace and security. It can take action, enforce decisions, and even authorize military interventions when necessary.

Agenda: “The Escalation of Proxy Conflicts and Their Impact on International Peace and Stability.”

The All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) in MUN simulates Indian parliamentary proceedings, where delegates represent real politicians/parties to debate national issues. Focusing on policy, national security, and social issues.

Agenda: “Deliberation on the Constitutional, Political, and Federal Implications of the Revocation of Article 370, with Special Emphasis on National Integration, State Autonomy, and the Federal Structure of India”

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a global organization that brings together leaders from government, business, and society to discuss and solve economic challenges. Founded in 1971, it focuses on issues like economic growth, innovation, sustainability, and global trade.

Agenda: “Geo Economic Fragmentation and Global Economic Stability”

An MUN International Press (IP) conference is a 5-15 minute break in committee debate where journalists interview delegates to hold them accountable, clarify policy, and gather content for articles.

Agenda: “Focuses on ethical, rapid, and accurate coverage to influence public perception and document the conference’s diplomatic proceedings”
