Session on Women Self Defence and Safety

Resource Person :- Nanda Kumar- Yoga Wellness Instructor, Voluntary Certification of Yoga Professionals Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Shri Anil. N -wellness Instructor . A self-defence training session was conducted for girls in DSBA with the aim of empowering students with confidence and safety.

The session was a huge success, with enthusiastic participation from the students. It covered various aspects of self- defence

  • Basic self-defence techniques, such as punches, kicks, and blocks
  • Strategies for avoiding and escaping potentially threatening situations
  • Building confidence and assertiveness through verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Understanding personal boundaries and learning to say “no”.

 The session was conducted by a certified self-defence instructor, who provided expert guidance and support to the students. The students who attended the session were extremely positive about the experience.
