DSBA commemorated Kargil Diwas on July 27th, 2024, to honour the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers who fought valiantly to defend the nation’s sovereignty during the Kargil War in 1999. The event was graced by Capt. Naveen Nagappa a Kargil War Veteran, who shared his inspiring experiences.

The college community came together to pay tribute to the martyrs and their families by lighting the candles followed by patriotic speeches and presentations, a special screening of a documentary on the Kargil War, and a display of patriotic posters and banners created by students. Kargil Diwas is a reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by our brave soldiers to protect our nation’s integrity, We salute their courage and patriotism, and reiterate our commitment to upholding the values of nationalism and service to the Nation.
