Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Outreach Programme at Kumbalgodu

The Department of MBA, Dayananda Sagar Business Academy (DSBA), in association with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), organized a rural outreach programme at Kumbalgodu on 23rd February 2026. Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, aimed at strengthening the connection between higher educational institutions and rural communities to promote sustainable and inclusive development.

The programme provided MBA students with an opportunity to engage directly with the local community, understand rural challenges, and explore practical, technology-driven solutions for improving the quality of life. The initiative emphasized key areas such as education, healthcare, sanitation, livelihood, environmental sustainability, and community empowerment through awareness and skill development.

Through this outreach activity, students gained valuable experiential learning while contributing towards the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047. The programme reinforced DSBA’s commitment to social responsibility, community engagement, and holistic education by encouraging students to become active contributors to sustainable rural development.
