Movie Time – An Inspiring Learning Experience for MBA Students
The Department of MBA organized a “Movie Time” event for the MBA 1st Year students on 03 March 2026 as part of an interactive and experiential learning initiative. The event featured the inspirational biographical drama The Pursuit of Happyness, a film that beautifully portrays the journey of determination, resilience, hard work, and perseverance in the face of adversity.
The objective of the event was to provide students with a refreshing break from conventional classroom learning while inspiring them through a powerful real-life story. The movie encouraged students to reflect on the importance of self-belief, goal-setting, persistence, and maintaining a positive attitude despite challenges. It also highlighted valuable life lessons on overcoming obstacles through dedication and continuous effort.
Following the screening, students actively participated in discussions, sharing their perspectives on the film’s key messages and relating them to their personal and professional aspirations. The activity fostered critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and decision-making skills while reinforcing the significance of experiential learning beyond textbooks.
Overall, the “Movie Time” event proved to be an enriching and motivating experience, leaving students inspired to pursue their goals with confidence, resilience, and determination.
