Seminar by AIESEC

An Introduction Seminar was conducted by AIESEC (International Association of Students in Economic and Commercial Sciences) on 1st October 2013 between 1:30 and 4 P.M.in the lecture Hall at DSBA.

Mr. Abhishek Shetty, member of AIESEC gave information about the organisation, told the participants the scope, benefits, and the activities conducted by the organisation. The undergraduate students of DSBA attended the seminar. The Principal, Dr.Sridharan, the Dean, Prof.Sreekiran and the HOD, Ms. Preetha were present. The students were briefed by Mr. Siddharth- a member of AIESEC, about the Global Internship Programme (GIP) being offered by them, the countries they could opt to do the internship, and the expenses that they would incur for the duration of the internship.

Two information booths were set up outside the seminar hall, where the students could raise their queries, get details and register.

The seminar as a whole was very informative, the energy and enthusiasm shown by the members of AIESEC raised the morale of the students and made the occasion a fun-filled one.
