On 18th August 2015, undergraduate Students from Dayananda Sagar Business Academy, Bangalore visited the Sunway University, KualaLampur, Malaysia as part of the global captivation programme, Aug 17- 23, 2015.
This educational trip included classroom sessions as well as interactions with company managers on the Malaysian economy and its leading sectors such as tourism and plantation economy. Students also benefited from varied teaching methodologies in business and management through interactions with faculty at Sunway University in areas such as leadership, international management and understanding cultural diversity in business.
During this visit Dr.(Brig)Sandes, Principal, DSBA and host Dr. Lee , Director of MBA, Victoria University, Director of Le Cordon Bleu, Dean DSBA Mr. Sri Kiran, Ms. Jagdeep Kaur, Trainer of Sunway University, Mr. Sameer Faculty of International Business jointly released the DSBA Journal to mark the start of a new collaborative research initiative to promote scholarship in management. It is envisaged that the scholarly contributions to future issues of this annual publication from scholars across India and the world will greatly enrich learning in management.
Sunway University also organised cultural and shopping visits to iconic destinations in Kuala Lumpur, which included palaces, heritage buildings, shopping malls, the world-famous PETRONAS Towers, local markets as well as the pewter and chocolate making factories.
