Before starting the activities, the trainers informed the students, the schedule for both the days & guided the team with basics and how to take care of risk management factors through their safety equipment and instructions.

The moment the students were acclimatised, they were divided into teams and the team activities like passing the marble, inverse ring, target lift and many more such activites commenced. All the exercises planned were meant to build confidence in oneself, one’s abilities and to develop a feeling of comradeship and encouraged team-building. The programme was deliberated in its use of physical activities. Here, the participants were required to face challenging situations as individuals as well as teams. After lunch, at 2.30 pm students went for ascending activity, Chimney Climbing & Rappelling. All were adventurous and adrenaline rushing activities.

Students learnt a lot, through thrilling experiences with their limits of endurance and stamina at Ramnagar rocks. After a refreshing round of tea and snacks, students pitched their tents and got ready for the evening revelry. It was a unique experience for all ,as they were in the midst of rocks, camping on the lap of Mother Nature  in a pitch dark spot .With a bon fire on ,the air was resonating with music and students danced away with fun, excitement and wonderment.

The next day, the students set out for an early morning hike .It was a trek to the peak of the Ramnagara hills and in the serene surroundings, one soaked in the nature’s beauty. Adventure seemed never so safe, so near!!

After the tiring trek each one devoured the yummilicious breakfast at one go, as if there was no tomorrow! After a quick refresh, the students were taken for the remaining outdoor activities-Zip lining and Jumaring. Students experienced the ultimate high doing these activities. It was a test of one’s strength and stamina – an achievement in its entirety! A feeling that was incomparable!

With all the strenuous activities over, it was time for a shower and lunch.

A group discussion followed wherein the students realized the outbound training course enabled them to see beyond their narrow goals and align with the overall requirement of their program’s objectives. This ability is particularly important in the modern, fast-changing world that all of us reside in! Besides, the outdoor experience ensured quality fun time together and ended with them getting some learning in the process.

The students were back in the college by 5 pm the next day.
