CIL Training on Leadership & Emotional Quotient

CIL training on ‘Leadership & Emotional Quotient’ was held for IV Sem BBA students on 31 Jan’18 and for IV Sem BCom & BCA Students on 01 Feb’18 in G-05 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.

CIL under the banner of DSI aims to impart innovative soft skill training programs to enable individuals to become champion leaders in their endeavour, and to sustain a high level of performance at the individual and the organizational level.

The trainers were Mr Adarsh and Mr Webster.

The trainers trained the students on leadership activities and emotional intelligence through three  activities to help build & focus on leadership. The thought provoking leadership activities envisioned helped equip empower and inspired students to discover their passion and make an impact. They were also explained the importance of listening.

The participants were given an understanding of Emotional Intelligence that would help prepare them to increase their EQ including skills like emotional self-awareness, conflict resolution and understanding different personality types. The trainers explained about how the brain works based on incidents that one has experienced.

Ultimately, the interactive discovery of skills left the students with a thought about the importance of creative thinking and thinking beyond the box.
