United, we are stronger. Cultural and ethnic diversity can help us grow more and stronger, together. Students and faculty celebrated Ethnic Day at DSBA on 10 May 2018 in pomp and splendour. The theme was “Respecting Respective Cultures”. The idea was to go back to our roots and share with others our uniqueness. The event was coordinated by Prof Crissy Mathew-Faculty in charge –Cultural Club.
It was the most looked forward to event and the students participated with great enthusiasm. The college premises bore a cross cultural feel when people came up and showed off their ethnicities. The students donned ethnic attire -girls were dressed in region specific salwar suits, lehngas and traditional sarees and the boys wore lungis, dhotis, sherwanis, kurta and pyjama.
At 2 pm, certificates was distributed to the prize winners of the co-curricular and extracurricular activities in the academic year 2017-2018 at Room G-05.The event was coordinated by Prof Meera Krishnan. The emcees were Ms B S Sharvani [II year BCom] and Mr. Noel S John [II year BBA].
